March’s Haul

Loads of articulateds, lot of non-articulateds, all fun.

What a selection! In the month of March, 10 figures were added to the collection. I forgot to include 1 in this photo...

sorry, Senchou.

My BBTS pile of loot shipped out this month. 6 of these figures came from said pile.

The other 3 are from dirt cheap Yahoo Auction sales or Mercari.

POP UP PARADE

Hololive's Amelia Watson in POP UP PARADE format.

I am very impressed with the sculpt and paint on this figure. Good Smile knows how to make a great figure at an affordable price. Ame looks amazing!

Another Hololive figure? Wow who would've guessed.

Houshou Marine looks fantastic in her regular pirate outfit. A new scale figure was announced during Super Expo the other week for Marine; it'll most likely be too expensive for my taste but I still can't wait to see how it looks once the prototype is out.

figma

Finally, finally, f i n a l l y got my hands on the Madoka figma. It took me way too long to find a good deal on this figure but hey, $20 on Yahoo Auctions for a lightly used, complete Madoka? I'll snatch that up.

Another figma I've been chasing down for years: Skull

(Sakamoto Ryuji for you purists out there)

The resale price on this dude is insane. I was able to score a great deal on him via Mercari, and he was like, basically free, being I used the proceeds from some of my Lunar New Year figures.

Nendoroid

And here is Ame's Nendoroid!

I have yet to open this one, but I'm doing much better this month than last month. I'll have her put on display with the other 15 or so Holo Nendos I own within the next few days.

Chocolove! Her Nendo came out so cute!

I don't watch Choco all that much but I very much love her voice, or more so, her music. She'll make a fine addition to the Holo Nendo display.

Other things

There are 2 types of Oshi no Ko fans. Those who think Arima Kana is the best girl, and those who are wrong.

Kana looks super cute! The pose, sculpt, and paint on this figure are top notch. I may pick up Hoshino Ai as well, but she's not top priority. I will take more Kana's and Ruby's, however.

Oshi no Ko was my favorite anime of 2023 and I've been (im)patiently waiting for these figures to drop.

Mem-Cho is my least favorite of the 3 B-Komachi members but I'm still very glad to have her in my hands.

Tomoe Mami in her Serenus Couture form.

I know nothing about this line but I know too much about Mami (well, the whole Madokaverse, really). This makes for the 3rd (and cutest) Mami figure in my collection.

The final figure from March is AniMester's Thunderbolt Squad Whisky Sour!

This is the first AniMester figure and the 2nd seamless silicone figure I've ever picked up. I'll be writing a review on WS eventually; I have a lot to say about her pros and cons.

I'm not including model kits in these monthly round up posts, but in case you missed it, I obtained and completed the 30MS Neverlia kit a few days ago.

April will probably be a pretty light month for new toys but a heavy month for model kits. I am going all in on the 30MS line and have been scooping up dirt cheap kits and part option sets left and right on Yahoo Auctions. Seriously, $10 for a full kit? I cannot resist.

On another note, I'm currently working on a few new reviews that I'll post in the coming weeks. figma Sayaka, the AniMester Whisky Sour seen above, and figma Madoka (also seen above) are in the pipeline. Photos are done for the 2 figma and I've even started the write up for Sayaka. Additionally, a few new custom projects should roll out this month. All to say, it will be a busy April.

Stay tuned for more and as always, thank you for reading!

B-Komachi! They look fantastic together.

Having the full group together makes my heart happy.
