October’s Haul

Artisan, small batch

Smallest haul of the year so far! Prioritized higher-end figures this month. What was lost in quantity is made up in boobage.

Snail Shell

Snail Shell’s RPG-01 Bustia Lustia!

An undeniably busty and bodacious gal. If I’m presented with the opportunity to obtain demons, devils, succubi, etc. I am most definitely taking that offer.

I am a total sucker for the hooved feet. Lustia came with some fancy looking high heels as well, but the hooves are so unique that I can barely even consider using the heels.

“Outfit” or “Clothing” is, well, sparse, on this one but what’s there is well crafted!

Absolutely obsessed with these horns and the little horn piercings. They’re free moving parts that swing and move around. This is the 3rd Snail Shell figure in my collection and their attention to detail has always been phenomenal.

Otaku Toys

Otaku Toy’s 1/7 scale White Rabbit (Rosuuri)

If you know me irl, you may be familiar with much I like and respect Rosuuri.

Wildly accomplished artist. I have her artbooks, prints, lil plushies, and now: her first scale figure! This figure is a tangible take on Rosuuri’s main original character, White Rabbit.

For a 1/7 scale figure, this thing was cheap. Rosu, dude, you gotta charge more for your work.

Check out the gallery below of close up and detail shots.

Animester

Animester Thunderbolt Squad Vodka Mirror

My second figure from the Thunderbolt Squad line (the first being Whisky Sour, seen for a fleeting moment in an old blog post). I’m now missing one. I’ll find you and bring you home some day, Barbera.

Starting with good ole Sunflower, Vodka makes for the 3rd seamless silicone figure in my collection. The Thunderbolt Squad line measures in at 1/9 scale, making these figures much larger than my typical breed. The extra size and heft makes them feel super premium and more art-like, rather than toyish. Like kinda dirty and slutty art.

HI3 Bronya vibes.

Love a figure with movable eyeballs.

Multiple faceplates, a dozen hands, two different ear sets; this figure comes loaded with options.

And one more!

My preordered copy of Usada Pekora’s first live concert, Usagi the Megami has finally arrived.

[excited gibberish ↑↓↑↓↑↓↑↓]

There are two nousagi inside me. One wants to use these stickers. The other is concerned with collector BS like “value” and “CiB”.

I’ve watched this concert 3 times now. Ripped it to my hard drive, same as every other Holo BD I’ve picked up. They are great background content for when I’m doing something like, oh, let’s say… working on a website?

The packaging on this thing is so good; what a fun presentation. Peko has achieved goddess status through the power of Cover Corp.’s high-end merchandising.

And one more thing: Finally started working on my next Buster Doll model kit, Knight.

I’ve done the building. I’ve done the washing. I’ve done the disassembling and the priming. I’ll start actual paintwork within the next few days and then she’ll be finished! In about, maybe, approximately… 5-50 days from now. Be patient with me, I’m a slow moving person.

And with work-out-of-process things, I’ve finished my Buster Doll Gunner figure!

I’m currently working on making a Projects page for this one and it should be live by next week (hopefully).

This was a fun kit to work on and a final product that I’m pretty pleased with. Gunner is done. Knight is underway. Tank is next, Paladin after… The plastic grind never ends.

You’ve reached the end. Let’s meet up again next month.
